car hesitation

Default car hesitation

hi guys i have a 2000 turbo classic my00 its done 75000 miles just serviced it oil plugs air filter and added a full blitz nurpec r exhaust the car seems to be hesitating between 2,3 thousand rpm until boost kicks in on every gear not so much 1st i have just also replaced the maf sensor, lamda sensor as these were broke i reset the ecu i have been told due to the exhaust being fitted the car might need a remap but i dont have a clue any help will be much appreciated

i got similair problem i got a my99 classic with full decat just replaced the lambda as i was get check engine light come on from time to time done an ecu reset and now notice a hesitation between 2-3k rpm?? all help greatly appreciated

some classics are ok with decatting, some don't like it. might be a sensor issue as well, might be worth getting it hooked up to a laptop to see if it kicking out any faults

been running decat for a while without probs so must be something else?? any other ideas

maybe MAF? might be worth getting a dyno run on it and see whats going on

I have a similar problem with mine, new leads and plugs cured it breifly, then back again, worse when its damp, so I'm looking for a 'new' coil now.

Question

took the car out this morning to try and fine the fault and the hesition didnt happen? so any ideas on what could cause this intermittant fault as dont really want to spend money on a garage bill without some idea of what might be causing this??? cheers for all help

check the fault codes and that will help you identify the problem, i had the same thing and it was my maf sensor

hi had the same prob with mine changed the cam sensor and at mo seems to have done the job
