does your car still read in kph? if so you would need to buy a kph to mph converter for the gear box,
as for the boost, all you need to look out for is, boost droping off or over boosting,

yeah still in kph. scoobyclinic in chesterfield said it would cost £100 to take resrictor off so i assume this is everything included.
regarding the boost gauge i havent got the foggiest what to look for,

The boost gauge is only really needed to show that your boosting properly but basically ignore it unless you have a problem (lack of boost etc)
Boost Targets & Fuel-Cut Limits
WRX/STi Saloon ECU's 2C, U8, W6, W9 - As above, 11.47psi held to redline. Fuel-cut 14.57psi
The above is the ecu and specs for your car (if the ecu is standard)
