Unhappy loss of power !!!!!

Hi. I seem to be losing power above about 5000rpm but boost still reads ok. It seems to pull well and then drops off. Any ideas? It a 99 RB5 wr sport

mines the same,its definately dead but everything seems ok,no lights or codes or anything,i know its running rich so going to service it change lambda when my arms better see if that makes a difference

What are you using to read the boost? If its a ECU monitor (e.g. PSI SECS) then perhaps the MAP sensor is over reading and the boost reported to the ECU is more than what you actually get.

Could be over fuelling, is your MAF ok? It won't be the Lambda as this is ignored during open loop fuelling (i.e. when on boost).

Best to get a tuner to check it out on a rolling road to make sure it's all running normally.

using mechanical gauge. will try maf sensor. thanks will let you know
