Default Anti lag

HI lads just seen a scooby on you tubepopping and banging like hell, It is apparently called anti lagging , does anyone know how this is done and if it is potentially dangerous thanx scott

Nope, you need an aftermarket ecu, but note that in most cases (not all) anti lag systems can seriously decrease the life of the turbo.

I have the antilag function on my Auyronics ecu...When switched it makes some serious noise.Havent had a chance to really experiment with it yet as was only fitted last week,the fact you have boost ready makes it very responsive in lower gears,coming on and off the throttle is instant,more like a switch!!!

If you drive around with it on all day then yes.............but my car is a toy so only gets out once ibn a while...

Plus you need to have this function set up by someone who knows what they are doing..

My cars had it fitted a good few years now & im still on the same b/b turbo, but I only use it in short burst, say no more than a minute max.
