Default Possible problems

Ive a 1993 wrx import running about 340/350 bhp see my scooby for mods.

On the 1/4 miles my best time has been 13.4 with most runs being 13.5. I feel the car should be quicker than this. It is making full boost 1.4bar and i am giving it plenty of the start.

Is any one else running the same times with simular power.

I have a twin dump downpipe which i think might be holding me back abit and ive only fitted my catch can so my fmic will need cleaned of oil.

Should i be gettin better times?

All info is appreciated.

Im running 13.5s at Pod but I only think im running 280 bhp all it has is a Z4 ecu,
Have you had yours on the rollers? Not only will this confirm your BHP but will also check AFR to make sure its fueling ok.

Yea ill look out my slips but im sure i only keep the ones from USC in august.

Would the twin dump downpipe be holding me back that much as with the 20g i know it can block the smaller pipe abit.

I havnt had the car on the rollers yet but my last map was in august by andy F and he said it should be around 340/350bhp as with the mods i have and the fact that the 550cc injectors are running at 95% at full boost.

Hunted everywhere and cant find my slips. All i remember is my best time was 13.4 at 103. mph with 60ft time of 1.6 or 1.7.

As i had problems with oil in intake and fmic could there be oil in my boost solenoid. Even though im making full boost could it still cause problems.

1.6 is a decent 60ft time,i was getting similar to that but was running 12.8 on my typeR with 311 bhp so does seem a bit slow

if the downpipe isnt letting exhaust out quick enough doesnt it build up and cause over boost?

I know nothing about Scoob 1/4 miling but I used to run my turbocharged Clio an awful lot and used to run 13.3 @ 107 and that's on a 2.3 sec 60 foot time which wasn't that out of the ordinary - front wheel drive is hard to launch with the 230bhp or so that mine was running. Now, when you do the sums it was around 250bhp/ton with a slow 60ft. So tbh if I had a 340bhp Scoob which must be in the high 200's power-to-weight, seemingly capable of sub 2-second 60fts, I'd guess at an easy 12.
