Plug change help please !
Hi All Just changed my Jap Import WRX 1995 to really low mileage 96 WRX. 10k !!
The car is in mint condition with only a bit of weather damage over the years.
I have serviced the car with fully synthetic oils and today went to change the plugs however came upon a problem!
After removing the battery, water bottle etc I loosened the 12mm bolt on the coil pack and then pulled away without success, I then got a bit of wood and levered the coil pack from the plug this was successful however it left the rubber bit stuck to the plug.
After a lot of WD 40 and half an hour of trying to pull it off (As you know you can see nothing) I could not get it off and therefore had to put it back together again with out changing the plugs.
Any one know how to pull these off and what tool to use I tried sharp nose pliers but that just ripped a bit if rubber off!
