Wink SHOULD I OR SHOULDN'T I

Iam getting a 57 plate 2.5wrx on saturday.

i am having a magnex cat back system on it and a dump valve...

first off is ok having a dump valve on it?????

also is it safe having a k&n typhoon induction kit????

i know i would have to swop it over for warranty claims etc but have been reading about maf sensor faults

what do you think????

Unless your motor is over the 350bhp mark I wouldn't bother with an induction or a dump valve. If its a re-circ valve then that would be ok.
Best thing you could do is to drop something like a K&N panel filter in.

As for the exhaust I'd have a look at the likes of Scoobyworld, Revolution, H&S, TSL etc

All of which provide better quality, sound and gains.

However, if you are happy with what you are doing then go for it as it will still sound pretty good.

Hope this helps.

As above, forget DV and induction kit..! Fit a panel filter (K&N/Green) and a decent/genuine 2.5" cat back. That way you can always utilise it when you go further down the mods route, which you will..!

What ever you do, always try and future proof your mods as much as possible, regardless of what you think you'll settle for now, because you ALWAYS want more..! Saves you spending twice or three times for the same thing, IYSWIM..?
