My car is a 96 preface classic STI V-Limited. When I bought it, I was told it had a IHI Turbo Kit, a larger turbo.
Ive looked at the turbo all its got stamped on is, IHI TURBO / RHF5 / C
Am I right in thinking the VF23 is standard.

* Update found an Apexi stamp on it, also it has a 90 degree elbow on it *

The OE Turbo on those were TD05 I think, the VF turbos started going on after the facelift IIRC

VF was fitted to the STI3, TD05 were fitted to the Early WRX saloon/ STI 1/2

Having looked at the inlet manifold, that is Phase 1, so it's a STI 2 that has had a VF fitted to it.
