Aps exhaust
Guys i have the 4 1/2 inch APs race exhaust system, when it went on the car i was only doing track days so noise wasnt an issue, im now using it as a daily driver and getting a lot of very strange looks from people, it has a very deep resonating sound etc. Is it possible to change the back box for something quiter or will it need a remap as well?

you can get a bung for them.. either custom job by H&S, cannot remember if APS do a bung themselves or not.
I don't believe you can get another back box to fit the APS pipework unless APS have started doing one since I last looked.. so you would be changing most of the exhaust so map would need checking etc..

I had H&S make one for my ninja, which was real loud - non-res and full decat.
Cost £25 +vat +del
Took a bloody lifetime and about 6 drill bits to put the hole in the backbox to screw the bung into.
