Smile New Discs and Maybe a New Chip

I need to replace standard front discs on my MY99 its got 4 pots and I am looking for something cross drilled and grooved, I am using green stuff pads at the moment on standard discs, they seem good, but am planning more mods in the future. I think its better to sort the brakes first :-)

I was also thinking of a 'Superchip' to increase the bhp, I already have Magnex exhaust an KN panel filter. Do you think they are worth £500? I think my scoob must be running about 220 at the moment, any idea how much it would be after chipping?

Cheers

Thanks for info, will do. Do I need to stick to standard size discs on the fronts, got the standard 5 spoke 16" wheels at the moment?

you cant just buy bigger disks without changing the calipers if thats what you mean?

I have the standard 5spoke 16" wheels with 4 pot calipers which use 295mm disks... think these are the biggest calipers you can use with these wheels.

Don't think EBC greenstuff are suitable for imprezas.
I went with Black Diamond plenty of bite but incredibly duster after a few weeks i have black alloys

Speak to the guy i gave you the link to (Alyn).

Im going for the 8 groove Nitric perfromance disks as in the group buy... comes to £146 delivered but Im not going to buy pads just yet

EBC pads are nice and cheap and will do the job but alot of people dont think there good enough, when I need pads I want to go for Ferodo DS performance pads but these are quite expensive.

Get your name down on the group buy as they are doing cheaper prices on the EBC pads as well and it will be ending soon!
