Default STI V4 Heads

Hi fellow scooby fans,

There are a set of the Skimmed Sti V4 heads with hks cams and uprated valves fitted for sale. My queries are:

Will the heads fit straight onto my import wrx (for spec see my scooby) with out any problems.

Would they be worth fitting?

How can i tell if they are diff V4 heads with hks cams as im from Northern Ireland and they are in England.

Cheers all

Heads will likely look the same, as for the valves and cams, post us a picture up of the combustuion chamber and the cams and we may be able to tell

As long as the heads havent been skimmed more than 10 thou, you wont run into trouble with the Inlet Manifold fitting(bolt hole spacing) and the Compression ratio.
STi V4 heads are marked LH-B + RH-B (same as UK'97 heads)
Valve Codes are EH + IH
It will have Under Bucket Shims
The HKS cams are normally engraved on the thrust end of the cam

how will i know how much theyve been skimmed. The owner doesnt know much about them and has never fitted them as his plans have changed.

My worry is that as im over hear (northern Ireland) and heres over in england i dont really know what im buying and its alot of money for me to hand out at the minute as ive got mot, brakes and tires all to do this month as well as renew my dreaded insurance but at the same time they are at a decent price. £575.
