yup,that will need bleeding.
the job itself is easy, its getting to the bleed nipple that takes the damn time, removal of the intercooler etc.

just like bleeding brakes really, push pedal to floor, open bleed nipple, close bleed nipple, pull the clutch pedal from the floor (as it wont spring back on its own) and repeat until u get pressure/spring back of pedal.

You recomend manually doing it or have you tried one of the kits from halfords? connect to tyre and use the pressure to bleed it?

manually really, its such a small route as long as some1 is doing the pedal part it cant go wrong really, but of course,if ur totally on ur own, those kits are good.

Take it off to bleed it, so the bleed nipple is at the highest point and the bore points down.

Did you put the release bearing in properly?

The top tip is definitely to take the slave cylinder right off the gearbox. I usually hang it off the bonnet frame or something with an old coat hanger so the nipple is the highest point in the system. Then get a long cap head bolt or something rounded on the end, even an old stick will do, push the slave piston right down inside the cylinder as far as it will go and use a G-cramp to hold it in place. Now when you bleed the system, you'll get a good result.
