where can i find info on my turbo pressure? just fitted a boost gauge (in PSI)
how many psi to BAR??
what would a 98 uk 2000 turbo run at standard? what can i run it at safely?

14.5 psi = 1 bar. It does not matter how far above sea level you are.
If you are say 2000m above sea level the atmospheric pressure is less, in both bar and psi.
It's like saying a mile is shorter in Scotland than in Wales.

With the correct mapping you can run upto around 1.5 Bar,
If your doing a bleed valve job, then 1.1 - 1.2 bar, but wouldn't recommend it.
I'm running 1.3 Bar with Standard 2.0l at the moment and has been fine for 5000 hard miles.
Also common misconception, Is very hard to 'Fry' piston rings, as the pistons will melt first.
