Default Heat wrap

What bits can i wrap (and what bits not to wrap) in the engine bay and does the wrapping have any detrimental effects over a a long period of time as i see lots of people do use the stuff.

Headers, uppipe and downpipe to keep the exhaust gasses warm to get the turbo spooling faster.

As above. No detrimental effects as long as you don't OVER wrap i.e. keep only the minimum 1/4" overlap at most.
