Default Worth replacing the fuel filter?

Has anyone had this replaced and noticed any difference?

Not sure if mine's ever been done (72k mileage) and wondering if the slight hesitation in pickup I'm experiencing could be down to this (motor is classic turbo).

Thoughts?

Cheers

CGS

on a classic it was cheap to buy a new filter and it was a 5 min job to change so yeh worth while, without looking in the service book i think its every 20,000 mile change.

Def change it, I put a motorsport filter in mine (very fine filter, but high flow) at same time as lots of other mods - the good part is I can buy the filters to change it (job takes 5 mins) and they're cheap.
