Gearbox oil! which one?
Hi just bought an wrx sti V3 V-limited and noticed the gearbox oil is almost non existant! what grade/colour goes in this and how do i get it in there?
Any help appreciated.

it has to be filled thro' the dipstick tube (can be a pain!!)..............takes around 3.5-4ltrs and personally always use something like Millers CRX75w90 fully synth..................

I had Redline shockproof in my old car and it was ok once warm but I found it to be a real chore on a cold gearbox. Courtesy of my old mechanic I have the Milllers in my current slightly notchy box but I swear it ran far better with Driveline (Syntrax), hence why I have 4.5 litres of it sitting at home just waiting for me to stick it in again .
