Acceleration measurement
Changed brake pads over weekend to Pagid Blue and Ferodo DS2500 and wanted to do a before and after test.
My Dad picked up a brake test meter from an auto jumble that measures % 'g' but even on the standard pads we got 96% g braking so there seemed little point in doing an after test (it only measures up to 1g)
So we turned it round to measure acceleration.
I have a 97UK Classic with just over 300 bhp / ftlbs and can just gain on an Evo RQ320, and they are 4.5 - 4.7s to 60mph depending on where you get the figure.
We got a reading of 0.55g obviously a peak in 1st gear. Hardly going to rip your face off, but a bit interesting to have a different sort of measurement.
Bottled out of doing a cornering measurement roads not suitable
