Default front mount question

just wondreing if its ok to run with a front mount fitted if the car hasn't yet been mapped for it.

u can but drive it off boost just to be safe ..

I ran my STi for two years with a front mount and no re-map, I cannot see why you would have to drive off boost until the car was mapped. As you are cooling the air more which would make it slightly denser but with the standard ECU being a learning item surely it is within the perameters of the ECU to factor in this slight increase in airflow picked up by the MAF sensor.

I agree with 360ste my mate has had is front mount on for over a year now and had no problems. I will also be getting one soon.

i fitted my front mount and never have had it remapped, and im running 1.8 bar boost
