I have left a deposit on a 2003 wrx, it is at a subaru dealer so has all backup and warranty, only thing is when I test drove it it appeared to have a wheel bearing noise from the back, I have had a call from them today and it has been inspected in the service department and they are saying the car is fine it is tyre noise from the bridgestone tyres, is this normal, as it seemed quite loud to me and I didn't notice it on another car I test drove, I am being assured car is fine and have been told to get an independant test if I am worried, but is this normal or am I being misled.
