Default can anyone help with defi gauges please

hi, i have just fitted some defi link meter gauges(52mm)

boost, oil temp, oil pressure.

the thing that i can not work out is the opening and closing mode

when i turn the ignition on, the opening mode works, but when i turn the ignition off, they just go off with out doing anything


can anyone shed any light on this please

Have you got the ignition and permanent lives wired up correctly?

yes, i think i have, permanent live it good, double checked that one, and the igition i have taken from the headunit, as that only works when the power is on. checked with mulit meter as well.

The only reason I could think that close mode didn't work is because it's not got any power when the key is turned off.

will double check it tomorrow, or is it just the BF range with the closing mode?

Didn't think they did anything when you turned off.

My white faced ones (gen II controller) didn't.

Normal guages don't have the closing mode only BF's AFAIK.

They run a calibration at the start and thats it, well do anyway.

Can those of you with 52mm gauges, especially if you have them in a triple central dash pod, post up a few pics please..?
