Strange noise
When my 1996 STI is turning over to start it makes a strange whistling/high pitch humming noise but only when its turning over???
Its done it ever since i bought it nearly a year ago any ideas??

It isnt that, it primes when the ignition is switched on, before i turn it over. Its just a hum as the engine turns. It sounds like blowing over the top of a milk bottle, thats the only way i can describe it, as soon as the engines started it disappears
