50k service - what to expect done?
Car booked in this weekend with local Subaru dealer for the 50k cambelt service (car under warrenty even though it is an 03) and i wondered what they should be doing as well as changing the cambelt?
Price quoted is £350 does that include air filter swap etc? don't want them charging me for jobs they haven't done but should have or have done but didn't need to!
cheers,
5t.

Cheers. Joined SIDC for the 10% off too so that's the membership money back from the one service.
At least i know not to wonder if they've replaced the airfilter etc if it isn't on the list.
only taking a couple of hours to do apparently.

Plugs are done at 30k and 60k..
I had my 50 k done in March on my 04 plate, and it cost me £320 inc VAT and MOT , I would prepare for a £500 bill as you may need your tensioner replaced at the same time as the CAM belt. I had my one replaced under warranty saving me some cash!

I was preparing myself for the tensioner to be repalced, but my car was 2 years and 364 days old, and still covered byt he original manufacturers warrenty. So was covered under that. The dealership was upfront and said it will be done under warranty at no charge!
