Question Fitting a Turbo Timer to a MY98

I've read through the forums that already discussed the turbo timers, but they seem to talk more about the merits and pros/cons of them, rather than how to actually fit one?

I've a Razo RE-20 turbo timer, bought of eBay and apparently for a 95/97 Impreza. It comes with wiring looms etc, but after spending near 15 minutes hunting in vain, I can't find a plug that marry's up to it. Am I just looking in the wrong place (i.e. the driver side kick plate/foot well).

Any info would be a great help.

But, guys, please, lets not start talking about whether they are a good idea or a bad idea. I get the security risk of it etc, but I'm happy to go ahead with the fitting. Cheers all!

Default No further on....

I think the wiring loom I've been supplied is for an earlier Impreza, as it does not physically wanna fit anything on my car.

The colors I have identified purposes for, are not necessarily correct of course, but its my logic, and having tested them, its what I can come up with, but the Yellow (which is a very short lead separate from the main wiring loom) does not seem to have a home (Handbrake maybe?) and the blue, which is built into the wiring loom along side the red and green, does not have any affect either it seems. I'm thinking the blue wire provides the 12v output signal as per the timing instruction?

When I add the green wire to a 12v supply, the timer illuminates, but I still don't see a digital display from the timer itself, and when the red wire is connected, the unit bleeps once, but still no display.

So, I'm up for hardwiring this timer now, and am capable of that, but i need to find out for certain which of these cables are supposed to goto where?

Head wrecker!

Cheers all!

Most people haven't fitted them, as with a watercooled turbo its pretty pointless an excercise really!
