any1 had a 2.5 conversion in a my99 uk classic
looking to get a rebuild 2.5 bottom end etc
just wanted a rough idea of cost i know s-clinic sc450 is £14000 all in with gearbox etc
just wanted to know what the others are charging
i've emailed them but not got a reply yet also what your car now runs like

If you were a real shrewd buyer, waited for the right parts to come up at the right prices and chose your components with care then you should be able to get it done for half of that. However that would mean sourcing the bits yourself and then having someone who could build the engine up for reasonable money. SC are at it all the time so guarantee a good job and take all of the worry away from you, you pay them 14k, they deliver end product. Doing it yourself carries the risk of something going wrong with sourcing/fitting that will be up to you to deal with.
