Default Dry Sump

Has anyone ever done a dry sump on an Impreza. Im building a drift Impreza and reckon it would cut out oil surge/starvation. Any opinions?

What about baffeling the sump to cut down on the oil movement andor a modded oil pick-up?

Most people who race on here run a baffled sump, either the standard one with additional welds etc (API sell them) or alloy big winged. Search flea bay and one will come up.

Certainly don't start drifting a car with the stock sump, you will trash the engine!

Mark @ Lateral has some of these i believe. I think they are the same design as the WRC ones. Chris.

WRC are 'damp sump' they have to have the oil sump below the engines for the rules but they all actually run dry sump with the oil tank mounted under the dry sump.

The Litchfield/powerstation etc time attack car is dry sump.
