Default Anti Lift Kit or replacement wishbone?

Basically, i got a real bad knocking right under my feet and its getting worse.. Subaru say that its my off, side, front wishbone bush.. Now they have quoted me £450 for this to be fixed, and im not really happy about this!

I have looked about for the bush but it lookes like you cant get them without getting the whole wishbone, hence the £450 price tag..???? Correct me if I am wrong???

Now I just read a thread that says if you fit an anti lift kit (£120) they it will replace this faulty bush and increase the cornering of my car????????

Stay with me?

So do I pay £450 for Subaru to fix the bush/wishbone
Or do I fit an anti lift kit for £120 and make my scooby a better car?????

It seems a no-brainer but is this right????

That is perfectly correct.

You will need the front end alignment checking no matter what, and the car will be nicer with this mod.

There are 2 grades for the ALK, road and race, go for the one with yellow bushes (road) and fit and forget.
I thought your prob bush was the front one on the wishbone?

I think the ALK only replaces the rear bush so won't cure a front bush prob. You must be able to get a replacement front bush from powerflex. Talk to a specialist rather than a stealer.

Most of the polybush people do a replacement for the front bush....

And are easy to replace DIY.

They will 'creak' after a while though.(and need re-greasing)
