I didn't think I could be much clearer! I already have the STi2 original which is why Ive put this post on. I thought that would be obvious! I'm looking for a better free flowing upgraded one that will fit a 96 Sti wagon

Not clear, as what you want is an aftermarket Classic backbox, you didn't need all the model details!
I would always recommend H&S, but they are not as LOUD as some want!

I'm not into too load, something subtle that will bring out the flat 4 burble. I'm more interested in releasing as many horses as possible! There seems to be so many 'performance' backboxes on ebay etc I want to spend my money wisely and get something that will make a difference. Being new to Subaru I assumed the model would make a difference as to what type/fitment I could use.
