Default Best turbo 4 uk classic?

Just wondered which turbo would be the best upgrade from the td04 on a uk turbo? standard apart from a cat back exhaust and grteen panel filter,hoping to achive arround 280bhp any help please!!

You sold the P1 mate?

Most people go for a VF series or a TD-05 16g

The P1 turbo (VF28) I have on mine spools nice and quick also see here:

Forgot to say you can get close to 280bhp on the standard TD-04

No damo,askin on behalf of a mate he was gonna buy a vf24 but was let down now he is stuck,keep your eyes open for him damo,he says his td04 runs out of puff at just over 4k revs?

I achieved 300bhp on my standard TD04 with supporting mods.
Opted for the TD05 FE and jumped to 320 with an Apexi pcf in place. Bought the turbo nice and cheap- You can pick them up for between £250.00 and £300.00

im running a vf 28 on my 97, its putting out 290bhp running 12/13psi, with 3inch de cat, blitz inducation, equal length manifold
