Would like to upgrade '96 Outback from a 2.2 to a 2.5
Hello out there in Scooby Net land,
I am thinking about upgrading my '96 Outback from a 2.2 to a 2.5 DOHC engine but not sure what would be involved.
Would anyone know if any modifications to the engine bay or mounts would be required? I'm thinking that a direct swap would be too much to hope for.
Also, would any of the manifolds be inter-changeable? Again probably too much to hope for but you never know.
Thanks in advance for any info anyone may be able to provide.
Cheers,
Lou
