help needed

hi all ive got a 2000 turbo w reg impreza and when its cold it spluters and holds back when its warm any one know what this could be cheers phil

99% sure it will be the MAF sensor. Misreading the air. Needs to be checked ASAP as it can cause the end of the engine. 99/00 cars are prone to maf failure.

Plugs and leads breaking down with age springs to mind if youi have had no error lights on the dash. Hasn't been the best of weather lately, the leads could be damp.
