Hiya

I have a N reg 1996, version 2 JDM wrx saloon

Noticed my ecu is a mines 2C

I know my car should be the 260ps model but i have a sneaking suspision that this 2c ecu i have is only 240ps

Am i right and would i be better off with the Z4 ecu??

As standard 240ps but if it has a Mines chip in it it will be more powerful but Mines are well known for their extreme mapping especially fuelling.

2C is a 240ps map that fits between the early U8, W6 and the later Z4.
It uses Z4 type code but U8, W6 type maps.

If it's got a Mines Chip in it, it could be anything.....
