My new car has an a'pexi avc-r acuator valve controller type-r

what does it exactly do? all i was told is that controls the boost a&b setting
a 323bhp
b 250bhp

is this the chuffing sound from my car? it has a dump valve which whisssssttttt, but the car also chuffs (i am really sorry but it was the best way i could explain it).

how could i get hold of the instructions to work it. i have pressed some buttons and some of it looks complicated, so before i brake it, i left it alone.
