Default maf sensor removal

hi guys i have a my99/00 2000 turbo i want to completly remove the maf sensor from the car and run it without one any ideas how to do this
will the car need a remap cheers scoobzie

Any reason why you want to do this?

It isnt a cheap option to convert to a non MAF as far as I can remember

Well I think you would have to get an Apexi with Maf Sim conversion to do this, will cost you around £1000.

Why would you want to do this? is there any performance benifits, or is it essisentail when you get high BHP figures?
