Is there a way of making them quieter as mine are ticking a hell of a lot louder than my mates 1993 WRX.

Any other owners of 1999 Sti's have noisey injectors?

I've got a Blitz NUR Spec as it is

To be fair, the ticking is only apparent when stationary or pulling away. The exhaust does drown out any noises as the revs climb.

Would covering the injectors with a type of sound proofing hinder the functionality or performance of them?

If they are really that loud then I suspect they are not the standard 440s..
what colour are they? the standard 440s are yellow.. you might have larger ones and the car has been mapped? what mods are on the car that you know about?

I bought it as a standard car & yes the injectors are yellow.

Maybe an injector clean would help, it has 70k on the clock now.

My injectors on my classic MY00 are quite noisy too!
