Default Wrx - Blue smoke on boost with a mixture of white

Im getting a mixture of white and blue smoke from the exhaust on ful boost. Turbo is a TD05 which was 100% when it went in. No play etc.

Block was assured to be a perfect running block and heads were rebuilt prior to fitting. Only thing i can think it is is the turbo oil seals but the car does not smoke on idle or even start up...

Any sugestions...

Sound like the turbo to me. Oil seals gone maybe?

Blue/grey smoke is oil.
White smoke is normally water.

If it's a mix of white and blue then that would indicate oil and water. Possibly turbo seal related..?

im thinking that as well. Only does it when on boost...

On idle and revving its fine.. not a jot... smoke free..

But on the road, on boost it smokes..

Bugger... turbo is in good nick as well.. what ya talking for a rebuild these days.. circa £200???

you can get the kit yourself and do it there around £70 but thats not bad but not sure about doing it myself as the blades would need balancing after surely?. thy spin at 150000 rpm so need to be spot on. might be wrong though usualy am.

yeah. Im sure there is a special machine to check how true the shaft is... im sure ive seen it in my locat engineering shop. IIRC he charges 150 plus VAT for a internal overhaul of seals. anything else needed is extra
