Default Link Ecu doesnt monitor knock?

How do you get around this? It seems that this would be an essential feature for any engine management wouldn't it? I suppose you could use a knock link but reading the knock count from the ecu seems like a crucial bit of information for tuning etc. Just curious, Im thinking of buying a LEM for my classic.

"Unfortunately the LEM does not have the ability to take a knock input.
You could use the LinkPlus if you want knock however there is no adapta to suit the linkplus.

My V5 Link ECU monitors knock as it uses the OEM knock sensor, and as far as I know the 6row Link for the earlier cars does the same.
