Thinking of buying a 98 Version 4 Impreza WRX STI Type R, Iam getting it personally imported, very soon! and going to do the conversions myself for the SVA TEST.

I know on most cars, you have to fit a fog light, speedo converter, fuel neck restrictor,

The problem I have that I was talking to a friend earlier, he said that the Japanese Type R has the MOMO Steering wheel and that it DOESNT have an airbag fitted to it, and that 1 is needed for the SVA test???

Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Whether it has an airbag or not and if 1 is needed for the passenger? Any info appreciated!

Just done a quick search aswell, and it seems people are having trouble getting these through the SVA tset and getting a model report?
