Yet another problem, MY00 rattle
My MY00 UK Turbo has developed yet another problem. For the past 3 months the starter has been sluggish. More recently the starter has appeared to momentarily squeak as the engine starts. Tonight it has developed a rattle which sounds like metal catching on metal. I though maybe the starter gear was catching on the ring gear once the engine was running.
Does this sound about right?
Can it do harm to the flywheel ring gear?
