Default Wagon ECU

On the old wrx's you could slap in a Z4 and get a bit more punch for a few quid....what I want to know is, is there an ECU I can get to chuck in a wagon (1994) to do a similar thing??

what turbo does your wagon have as the z4 was mapped for a td05 (but in my 93wrx i've got a vf 12 and it works fine).
There is the chip method but that's a bit more money.

Can chip a TD04 Wagon upto around 14.5psi which is 4 psi peak more then standard and it also holds the boost for longer (standard drops to 6.8psi)

the WRX wagon 92~96 has TD04.. all other 92~96 cars are TD05... except the odd legacy turbo found on some early WRX's but no one knows for sure if they were original or replacements.

so you UK wagon should have a TD05 and has.

Does anyone know if a z4 would be ok with a td04?

How much for a chip?

i think the z4/td04 combo is normally regarded as not good.
PolarPerformance (Scott Ts site) has prices, etc on it.
