Alternator securing with reversed inlet
Just thought i'd ask yet another question relating to my inlet reversal.
I have trimmed the bracket, flipped the alternator over tightned everything up and have put on the belt and tensioned them up.
One thing I am concerned with is that I havent been able to secure the alternator on the left hand side of the vehicle (the side opposite the bracket)
See pics

Whats recommended here?

Did most of it myself. I cut the pipes, flipped the inlet, cut the alternator bracket and modified the throttle assembly.
The only external involvement was an engineering company which made the wedge piece for the throttle body , welded the wedge piece to the manifold and welded the pipe together.
More detailed pic can be foun on my project which is here: https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...c-2-0l-16.html

Have a look on 22b.com
project threads: project RA page 4 & you will see a clear picture of a bracket made to hold/support the alternator.
