Default samco turbo hose problem

Hi ive just bought a set of new samco turbo hoses for my 93 wrx scoob and took the intercooler off to fit them and although the shape for the turbo to i/cooler is the same shape and got the dumpvalve take off point correctly positioned the original pipe is bolted to the intercooler and these new ones id imagine would jubily clip but how? is there a method as i dont wanna be chopping pipes if im not 100% sure could someone please help with this...

You have to cut the old plastic pipe near to where it bolts to the intercooler. then jubilee the samco to it.

it's no different to the arrangment on the later 97 > cars.
Just make sure it's tight but not too tight to crush your plastic pipe.

what about the flow rate if the plastic pipe goes inside the samco then wont this restrict the airflow going into the i/cooler or wont it matter im a bit of a newbie to this so want to do it right.
