Has anyone ever fitted facelift rear door card into a pre-facelift? If so how??
Hi guys,
I've got a pre-facelift Impreza and I want to fit some speakers in the rear, but I don't want to cut the door cards and make it look chav.
So I'd rather mod the facelift rear door cards to fit.
Has anyone else ever done this mod, if so can you help with what bits I will need and any tricky area to plan for?
Cheers all

You will need the inner door lever mechanism & plastic trim cover that goes around it.
You also need the inner metal bracket. This bolts to the inside of the door, it supports & holds the facelift door card.
So you will need to remove the metal cup handle shaped bracket from the door & replace it with the facelift version. Once new door card is fitted you will then be able to fix it in place via 2 bolts.
You will also need the window switch, the original plug off your old loom should fit into the new switch.
The front work in the same way except you need to rewire the drivers door window switch for it to work.
