Backbox i found on ebay! And Dump Valve.
Evening all, ive just been looking on ebay to see what impreza back boxes they had - and i found this one -
eBay.co.uk: NEWSINGLE EXIT ALLOY EXHAUST BACK BOX SUBARU IMPREZA (item 290122979075 end time 03-Jun-07 14:12:13 BST)
I take it this is just a one man show who is making them as and when they are ordered. Quality doesnt seem to bad, but should i steer clear because of the ridiculously cheap price?
Also found a dump valve i like -
eBay.co.uk: Subaru Impreza Dump Valve VTA (item 220115976809 end time 01-Jun-07 19:30:00 BST)
Its looks nice, its cheap so wont break the bank but it says its very loud. Anyone had any experience with a trumpet-type dump valve?
Thanks
Adam

Personally I wouldn't touch it, far too cheap, youl have to saw the old one off to fit it as there is no connecting pipe and flange and i've never heard of an aluminium exhaust, they're normally mild steel or stainless.
Would you really want to put that on your car?

Hia mate, just because somethings cheap doesnt necessarily make it bad - although i hold my hands up and say it looks a bit dodgy and amateurish.
Im just getting increasingly frustrated that scooby backboxes are ridiculously priced. For example the Ninja ( £220 odd quid / Scooby World ) this is an old item now yet they still sell it for that price, theres even been a follow-up to it and they still expect you to fork out over 200 notes!! Its a backbox for gods sake.
I'll steer clear of the BB on ebay but does anyone have an opinion on the DV?
Thanks
