Default Idle problem after SSO

Hi guys after driving up to SSO in the sti RA (about 240miles well pleased how the car was) The next day i filled it up with v power as usual and after about 5 miles driving i stopped and the revs dropped down to 100rpm and then slowly raised to about 900rpm and played around in that area. I thought bad fuel but after driving home from SSO on the Monday and filling up twice since i still have the problem. I changed the maf sensor about 3 months ago and it has a decat down pipe it also has a standard dump valve. I noticed i have a backfire when letting off the gas and i may have a small leak from the join in the exuast. The car drives great. Any ideas
Thanks Neil

By the way great day out first one will not be the last

Hi mate i had the exact same problem turned out to be the maf but you say its been replaced so im not to sure. the conectors to the maf could be faulty try playing with them (wiggling) and see if the same idleing occurs.

cheers

Idle Control valve or Tps Throttle Position Sensor, Could aslo be a faulty Lambda, Unplug & start the car to see if that cures it .
