...fitting everything back together ive found that the coolant pipes that come off the TD04 are too small to fit the TD05.. damn!

anyone know where i can get the coolant pipes from, looking on ebay i can only find this

eBay.co.uk: SUBARU TD05H turbocharger water cooling oil drain kit (item 320091035321 end time 07-Jun-07 04:07:04 BST)

Drill them out with a 9/16" or 14mm drill bit. As long as you've got the correct bolts for the water inlet and outlet you're OK, an overbore is all you need. I just did it with mine a couple of weeks ago. That kit on ebay will do it if you have got the time to wait. I was in a hurry so just drilled mine oversize.

Silent running,

thats a very good idea, as the M12 banjo bolts used on the td04 are quite loose in the pipes anyway.

Still need some M14 banjo's though - seems as thought loads of places do M10 bolts..

I had mine supplied new with my TD05 that I imported from the States, hence I had the bolts, just needed my pipes overbored.
