Default Air Flow Resetter

Anyone know what this is for, its inside the car and can be adjusted with a dial or reset.its on a import 92 wrx. Am i best to just leave it alone?

picture may help but i had a Pivot Air Flow Conditioner system when i bought my car (93wrx)and was told to get rid of it straight away.

it has low,medium,high and f**ked about with the air flow at various revs

Use www.photobucket.com and use the 'img code' then copy and paste into your post (doesn't matter what your profile is)

Take it to a GOOD scooby specialist to see if they know what it should do but imo take it off.
You're in Scotland so perhaps speak to Andy F (AndyForrestPerformance) see if he can tell you what it is.
