Default How to re-set immobiliser

Hi,

I have a Turbo 2000 1999 model saloon.
Have recently had some engine work done and changed the heads and the battery has been changed.

When we try and start the car now its not ticking over (not engine problem) seems as if the immobiliser has kicked in.
There is no seperate alarm fob for the car just the single key.
Any ideas how we might be able to overide or reset the immobiliser?

right hand side of your steering wheel and down theres a pull out compartment, in this you will/should find the keypad

if you find the keypad you will have to get the pin code for it, These were supplied with the vehicle when the alarm was fitted. usually not kept in or on the car for obvious reasons.

any idea what options i have?
I bought the car from a salvage yard and cant go tot he main dealer for the code because its going to take 6 weeks for the log book to come through and without the logbook the dealer isn't going to give me the code.

Is there antother way to re-set the code?

I remember seeing some sigma alarm fobs on ebay that allow you to re-set the immboliser, do these work and is it worth getting?

Take it to a Sigma alarm specialist they can re-code it for you!
