Default FMIC OR NOT??

I have MY00 UK which I'm about to fit a TD05 16g or VF34 to and already have decat and headers etc etc.

Would anyone recommend I go for a FMIC at the same time as the remap and turbo or at about 290bhp am I wasting my cash? If I did fit one what results should I expect?

Any help appreciated!!

At that power level I would say a FMIC is not going to give you any advantage, you would be better off getting a newage sti topmount.

Your intercooler is good for 330bhp as it is?

With standard intercooler/injectors, uprated fuel pump and one of those turbos with remap you should be looking 320/330bhp.

Why 290bhp?

Like your MY00, my MY99 has 440cc injectors and with a TD05, ported headers, decats, a 255lph fuel pump, a FMIC and an Ecutek remap I've have been assured of 330bhp/330lbft.
I have heard that a FMIC is a good thing to have whatever the hp so with 330 etc it is deffo gonna give an advantage - go for it !
