Would have thought you could get away with standard valves on that turbo.

I've got standard valves on my 2.33, sti 5 heads (non ported) and a rotated garrett 30/40r. If it ***** itself I'll let you know.

Ive just finnished my 2.35 ( nxt week ) and although Im running lowish power for the moment I still replaced all the standard valves with Supertech ones, even though im sure the standard ones would have been fine at my level. Think im right in saying IF you drop a valve thats your expensive 2.35 scraped. For the extra few hundred quid id much prefer to have that piece of mind AND when I do go further I wont have to take the heads off again.

BUT I KNOW ITS OVERKILL BEFORE SOMEONE HAS A GO

mixed thoughts on this then.

do you get Supertech valves to fit in to sti 3 heads or do you need to change other bits too?
