Hi all recently got myself a v3 type r great car soooo far ..... apart from the the silly short gearing !! want some advice can i just change 5th to a longer gear ?? some have said no/well kind of or does it involve changing diffs and so on.

Please advise.

You will need to get the fifth gear from the same year uk car and then it can be swapped over no problem. Speak to Paul at Zen performance and he will get it sorted for you.

i might do that also for smoother motorway gear.
once my car comes back from getting fixed
been in scoobyclinic for 2 weeks.

what kind of top end speed will the new gear give?

70mph @ 3-3.5k revs?
